I Care for Talika…Do you?
Talika redefines street art during Fashion Week and looks for the next “Fabien Barron” online with “I Care for Talika”.
Join Talika this Fashion Week to kick off the “I Care for Talika” contest, an online competition that gives participants a chance to win a trip to Paris and design packaging for an upcoming Talika gift set.
The Kickoff (9/16/2010):
This Fashion Week, several artists will leave an imprint on the streets of New York City on September 16, a day filled with Talika street art at the following locations:
Rockefeller Center
Milk Studios
Lincoln Center
Columbus Circle
Times Square
Meatpacking District
The Bowery
For exact locations and times, check Twitter (@TalikaCosmetics) and Facebook (facebook.com/TalikaBeauty) the day of the event. We’ll be posting and tweeting about what we’re up to all day. Be one of the first five people to arrive at each location with a password that we will provide and win an amazing selection of Talika products!
Don’t worry if you’re not the first on the scene—the Talika cigarette girls will be handing out samples and information about the contest all day long, so you’ll still have a chance to learn about Talika and try some products. Just look for the girls wearing Talika blue! If you can’t make it at all, be sure to check out the Talika Facebook and Twitter pages for photos and videos from the day!
Stayed tuned in the future for more “I Care for Talika” Talika street art events in cities around the US and internationally!
The Contest (9/16/2010 - 10/30/2010):
The “I Care for Talika” contest is an online competition in which participants will post a piece of visual art that they think represents Talika. Anyone can enter the contest—it is not just limited to professional designers and artists! The key to posting is being imaginative enough to come up with a great, creative idea.
In addition to the opportunity to design packaging for an upcoming Talika gift set, the winner will receive a two-night trip for two to Paris to include airfare, hotel, a treatment at the Talika Spa in the Pershing Hall Hotel, and a meeting with members of Talika’s creative team to discuss the gift set packaging design.
