as featured on Oxygen’s HOUSE OF GLAM
With new episodes premiering every Tuesday tonight, House of Glam brings you into the world of the B. Lynn Group— Amoy, Brandi, Crystal, Atiba, Groovey, Mike, Michiko, and Shaun; the go-to agency for trendsetting, team behind the red carpet that creates the looks we have come to love and expect from our favorite celebrity mega-stars. This is the entourage celebrities can’t live without! This week, Celebrity Hairstylist Amoy Pitters headed to the East End to style Kelly Rutherford for her chicHamptons Magazine cover at the breathtaking Panoramic View Resort & Residences. Love Kelly’s casual chic chignon? Here’s how to steal the look—
· First, for a more voluminous look, Amoy added a few hair extensions for great body on towel dried hair. Try a few
clip-on extensions for a fuller look, like Amoy Couture Hair Clip-On Extensions.
· Work through a styling mousse and blow dry on low heat, fluffing with fingers. Dry hair completely.
· Wrap sections of hair around 1.5’’ curling iron, curling different sized sections of hair.
· Lightly tease and finger comb through waves.
· Part hair in the middle and gather tresses into ponytail, twisting into a loose bun, secure with bobby pins.
· Loosen hair at crown and pull out a few pieces from bun and around face.
· Finish with a light styling spray for hold.
Amoy is available for interviews— we would love to schedule a meet-and-greet/complimentary appointment with Amoy at the salon (subject to owner’s approval/availability), or a deskside at your office, please let us know your availability and we will schedule accordingly at your earliest convenience.

ABOUT AMOY PITTERS: A New York beauty industry veteran, Amoy Pitters has a passion – and natural talent – for the worlds of hair, beauty and fashion since starting her career. Mentored by industry icon, Odile Gilbert – and featured in the famed work Her Style – Amoy launched her impressive career as a sought-after hair stylist in the fashion industry, booking her career-first fashion show in Paris, styling the locks of the runway models for the Christian Dior couture collection in January 1998. There, recognizing her unique skill set, Amoy was asked by the show’s production team to style the house’s legendary designer John Galliano’s own hair for his final bow. Soon after, Galliano himself began requesting Amoy as his personal hairstylist. Fashion maven Donatella Versace was next in line, after taking notice of Galliano’s newly styled locks. From there, Amoy was in-demand worldwide, styling hair for editorials and fashion shows, and transforming the looks of supermodels, Hollywood starlets, iconic fashion designers, Grammy award-wining musicians and, of course,Amoy’s everyday clients at her modest East Village salon in New York City. Celebrating its opening this year, Amoy has opened the doors of her new salon on New York City’s prestigious Upper East Side — Amoy Couture Hair.
