2012 Spring Stylish Heels and More

2012 Spring Stylish Heels and More
2012 Spring Stylish Heels and More

It always seems like the fashion industry is two steps ahead when it comes to the latest trends. Before you know it, you are done buying the trendy boots for fall (and now wearing them!) and you are looking forward to what the hottest stylish heels and wedge shoes will be for spring of next year. And there's already a ton of trends popping up that you'll want to be on top of for 2012.

Open peep toe wedge shoes were everywhere on the runways back in September. Think the big wedges of espadrilles but instead of a more closed top, you have ankle straps, a fully exposed top of the foot, and a peep toe front. It's the kind of design that will catch the eye, be comfortable in the warmer weather, and be easy to walk in because of the wedge.

Stacked heels are in but not the shorter stacks we are used to seeing. We're talking 5+ inch heels with a full, stacked look. If there's a way to comfortably wear heels of that height, it's with a thick heel that will support you far better than a stiletto. While stilettos will always be hot, it's interesting to see the overall shying away to more comfortable and practical styles.

Bright sneakers were also seen on the runway for those who don't want to wear fancy heels all the time. Marc Jacobs had some great pairs of chunky, multi-colored sneakers that really were a statement piece to a casual outfit. Color blocking in shoes is very big as well. Don't just pick an all red pump, go with the shoe that has a red heel and beige toe, or something even brighter and with more colors. They'll be everywhere in stores which makes a shoe easier to pair with more outfits considering the wide range of color options.

Loafers already hit the scene this fall but the ones for spring are more lightweight and worn sock-free and with a cute skirt. The colors are lighter, in whites and beiges as opposed to the dark browns and black of the fall.

Lastly, the pointy toe is back. Whether it's pointy ankle boots or a crocodile patterned heel, you are going to see them everywhere. This is the type of shoe you really need to try on before purchasing because the wrong size can end up squeezing your toes together all day.

wantedshoes.com has all the latest trends and affordable shoes. Whether you are looking for laceup boots or stylish heels, you don't have to spend a ton to get great looking, comfortable shoes

By Vicky Wang

It seems that nowadays, most fashion designers tend to find inspirations from the past. Thus, we can see the comeback of many fashion elements that once were rather popular in 80's or 60's. Also, there is no exception with shoes. If you look at your Mom's old wardrobe, it is not a surprise that you may find the similar styles of this season's hot vintage-inspired heels. Now let's see what attractive features you can find in these stylish heels.

Wide mid and high heels

Apparently, this kind of heels is rather comfortable to wear and walk. Wide mid and high heels always impress people with the 50's or 60's elegant fashion style. When you pair them with an umbrella skirt, which is also a kind of typical style from 50's and 60's, you will surely become the center of spotlights with great elegance and ease. Besides, you can also wear skinny jeans and jackets with such vintage heels to present a mixed modern chic style.

Wedge heels

In fact, there is no need to talk about the popularity of wedge heels any more, since almost every fashion conscious woman has already walked in wedges to make their style statement. However, the kind of heels is so hot right now that I can't just let it go without saying any words. It is amazing to pair them with flares and skinny jeans. Today's designs of wedge heels have been incorporated with more modern details, such as buckles, rivets, zippers and animal print. You can always easily create a chic and trendy style with a pair of wedge heels.

If you are careful enough, you will find many wonderful design details of those trendy shoes are inspired from the so-called outdated fashion styles. When you mix the vintage-inspired heels with bits from the chic and edgy modern collections, you will stand out in the crowd effortlessly.
