Meet Wolfie!

Meet Wolfie

Wolfie spent three weeks in a shelter with a broken leg, presumably from being hit by a car. As is the policy with some shelters, after three weeks Wolfie was scheduled to be put down. No one would adopt him and no dog rescue group would save him as he needed serious medical attention and with that comes serious medical bills. Except one! On what would have been his last day alive, The Forgotten Dog Foundation swooped in and pulled Wolfie out of the shelter and brought him to an animal hospital for treatment. The Foundation forewent the simpler and cheaper option of amputating Wolfie's broken leg; and he underwent a complicated surgery. Six weeks later, Wolfie is close to a full recovery and thriving in a great foster home, with several families interested in adopting him.

Saving one dog won't change the world. But it will surely change the world for that one dog.
