Panties and Strings and Boyshorts and Oh My!

Isn't that confusing? Can we just call them all "panties"? I guess we can, but every panty style is made for a different reason, hence the different name. Don't panic, it's easy to remember once you understand the difference. Here are the most common type of panties:
Boyshorts are gaining immense popularity these days. Cute and comfortable and bold. What's not to like? Boyshorts are styled after men's briefs and may have short legs extending below the crotch. While the design is squared off instead of like your average pair of shorts, the fit is usually second skin tight. This makes for a sexy and playful look and feel. Many women love wearing boyshorts around the house with t-shirts to feel totally sexy.
Hipsters, or cheekies, are similar to briefs, but are worn lower with the waistband around the hip.
Bikini generally consists of a high cut on the leg and fairly narrow strips of fabric at the sides. This panty has a snug fit, but doesn't come up to your belly button. Instead the bikini sits much lover, but does usually provide full coverage for the bottom. Bikini is the most widely worn style among women worldwide.
Tanga exposes the bottom of the butt cheeks, but covers everything else. It drapes across your fanny and exposes the right amount of cheek. It has a deep v style in the front and back, to reveal the belly button and lower abdomen. Tangas took the best of the thongs/ boyshorts cross.
Thongs have a waistband similar to tangas, but the rear coverage is not as full. The crotch is extended to the back with a narrow strip of fabric fitting between the buttocks, which becomes wider toward the top.
G-string is a thong with virtually no rear coverage, the narrow strip in the back extending from the crotch all the way to the waistband. It shows most of the buttocks. Therefor, they are considered extremely sexy.
V - String is similar to the shape of G string except that the inverted triangle-shaped strip of fabric is replaced with two strings that separate from the bottom instead.
C-string is the newest trend in the panties world. C String a thong which eliminates the waistband forming a "C" shape with a special frame that holds its shape. Useful for eliminating panty lines when wearing a silk dresses or tan lines when you are at the beach.
