Don’t miss the final day of the 36th Annual Hampton Classic’s ‘Super Sunday’ on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Bridgehampton, New York. The exciting week-long horse show begins Sunday, August 28, and ends on Sunday, September 4. It represents one of the most prestigious horse shows in the nation, and features competitors at every level.



‘Super Sunday’ is an opportunity for the finest riders to showcase their talents in this year’s Hampton Classic competing for prize competitions: the 7- & 8-year-old Young Jumper Championship [$30,000], the Carolex Show Jumping Derby [$25,000], the Hermès Hunter Classic [$10,000], and the feature event the FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup Qualifier [$250,000]. Those who will be competing in the FTI Grand Prix must first successfully complete the course on Friday’s Spy Coast Farm Grand Prix Qualifier [$50,000]. The Grand Prix is a CSI 4-star event recognized by the Federation Equestre Internationale. Olympians, World Champions and USEF Veterans will be participating in this class. This is the day Hamptons notables such as Alec Baldwin, Christine Brinkley, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Glen Close, Katie Couric, Billy Joel, Quincy Jones, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Matt Lauer, Ralph Lauren, Elle McPherson, Chuck Scarborough, Steven Spielberg and Bruce Springsteen. have been seen under the VIP tent. This year, owner of Southampton Inn will be in attendance.
