While summers are all about wedges, flat sandals, gladiators, flip flops and sneakers; it is the boots that rule the fall fashions. The boots are the ultimate fashion accessory for the winters as they don’t just make you look stylish and glamorous; they also provide the much needed warmth to your feet in the cold weather. Whether it is the riding boot for the preppy look or the ankle style for the chic and funky look; boots are the hottest trends for the fall!
One of the best things about autumn is the variety in the choice of footwear. Suedes, leathers and earthy colors all make their presence felt in our wardrobes. And the most irresistible footwear trend for the fall is the boots. Wearing boots with the perfect outfit can be a simple task, and often results in a fine polished look. With all the styles of boots available today, several looks are obtainable for every style preference. Three current and very popular boot styles for this fall include the riding boot, the ankle boot and the knee length boot.
Riding boots: Riding boots are meant to be worn outside your pants so wearing the skinny versions of your pants is the way to go. And when you wear skinny at the bottom, it is best to add volume on top. Wearing riding boots outside the stable is now the new fashion statement. These shoes have become quite a rage because they are not just because they are easy on eyes, but also because they are absolutely comfortable to boot. This year’s hottest footwear trends, the riding boots are not meant to be worn only when in the stable!
Ankle boots: If you are looking for something a little shorter, then try the ankle boots. They have all the sleek styling of their taller counterparts, but they hit just above the ankles, making them ideal for pairing with pants or longer skirts and dresses. Ankle length boots are highly versatile and come in a full range of colors. They can be slip-ons, have zippers, elastic or ties. They come in a wide variety of material, from suede to leather, and colors, from purple to pink.
Knee length boots: Like basic black pumps, certain boot styles are timeless; they’re easy to wear year in and year out, and they go with nearly everything in your cool weather wardrobe. That’s why I highly recommend having a pair of simple knee-high boots in either brown or black – all the better if you can have both. The BCBG bootsare the best among the lot. They look absolutely stunning when teamed with a leather jacket and skinny jeans.
They say you can judge someone by the footwear they wear; so wear it bold, wear it well and make the ultimate statement while you step into fall in your boots!
