As 2008 came to an end and 2009 blooms, color trends seem to change. Greens seem to be highly influential by the environment but neutrals still seem to be looked at as a safe purchase because they are a classic adding longevity to the products life.Earth inspired neutrals such as browns, grays and greens seem to be the primary color chic. Terra Cotta's continue to be a best seller. Terra cotta's are an earthy red and pink combination from spicy yellow based reds to blue based reds to highly saturated orange based reds to powerful blue based pinks which bring out unique colors giving way to form, texture and pattern. Yellow, yellow, yellow a somewhat formal influence such as the elegant gold still seems to be a key pick as much as the vibrant yellow orange but a pale yellow has bloomed into style for 2009.Lighter to mid tone browns seem to always be the most popular of all. Talking Blue, seems like Navy blue and Black are saying: "Good Bye, So Long, and Syonara", while the spa blue still seems to be a choice of color but with a twist of bold to it. Lighter Mid Tone Browns are my pick for 2009 and seem to be the most popular trend. Why is that? Because thay can be accented with colors such as reds, greens, and blues.
