Cranberry Apricot Stuffing






Ingredients:



  • 1 package of Herb Seasoned Stuffing

  • Sliced celery (as you please)

  • Chopped onions

  • About 20 wholes cloves

  • 1/2 cup of dried apricots (chopped)

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cran-raisins

  • 1 cup of chicken or turkey stock

  • 1/2 stick of butter ( room temperature)


Mix all ingredients together as usually is done when making stuffing. Stir in chicken or turkey stock and butter. Place stuffing in oven casserole pan and place in the oven for about 30-40 minutes.


Place the apricots in water for about a few minutes prior to chopping.


If you prefer to add more richness and texture to the stuffing you can also add sliced mushrooms, walnuts, chestnuts, sage, and carrots


The cloves in the stuffing brings out the sweet savory taste your family and friends will enjoy.
